Disappearance #9 | September 19, 1996

On October 5th, 1996 another Winterbourne resident disappeared. It's been over a month and no body or evidence has been found. This is the ninth unexplained disappearance in Winterbourne while I have been alive. I've kept a close watch on this particular case, for Blair Porter was a peer of mine.

The photo above was taken in 1981 by Nathaniel Shackleton on a hike by Cox Creek. Nathaniel was found dead in his own home Christmas Day, the same year. The investigation concluded that it was most likely suicide, however he had gouged his own eyes out seemingly with his hands.

The reason for archiving this particular disappearance lies in this photograph. To the right of Blair there is a black smear unlike anything. Humanoid, yet inhumanly tall. Three distinct spikes protrude from it's head. Please note, this photo has not been altered; it was clipped from The Winterbourne Weekly.

Blair was pregnant at the time of her disappearance and leaves behind her husband, Thom Crane. There is not much else to be said about the disappearance of Blair Porter, only that she will long be remembered.
